Job Description:

The position of International Logistics Coordinator with Operation Christmas Child (OCC) provides International Logistics team support through execution of work tasks to transport domestic and international gift box and ministry material shipments land, sea, and air. International Logistics is one of the four core components to have a successful OCC ministry with partners in over 100 countries worldwide.

 Responsibilities include:

  1.  Person must      demonstrate effective skills in international shipping and possess      interpersonal skills that can work an international matrix management      environment.
  2.  Position is      responsible to support a team of three (3) Specialists and three (3)      managers for the movement of gift boxes and ministry materials to over 100      countries worldwide.
  3.  Facilitate      expediting of shipments through detailed shipping documents, trucking of      various Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  4. Provides technical      support in related importation and transportation issues that sporadically      surface.

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from two-year College or University; or 1-3 (one to three) years related (international/domestic transportation) experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred. Second language proficiency in either Spanish or French is a plus.  Position requires 10-30 days travel per year, both international and domestic.
