Since its founding in 1836, Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church has provided a home for generations of those seeking to follow Jesus and share His love with others. Our mission is simple - we offer life-giving community where everyone is welcome, and we seek to create a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God’s glory.
Located in downtown Jackson, Mississippi just footsteps from the state capitol and Governor’s mansion, Galloway offers a variety of ministries to meet the needs of a diverse
congregation that includes young growing families, business professionals of all ages, as well as the homeless and those in need. We seek to reveal ‘heaven on earth’ by loving God and loving our neighbors through ongoing personal spiritual formation, congregational ethos, and engagement in numerous ministry and mission opportunities in Jackson, Mississippi, and the world.
