Description of Position

We are looking to find a Student Pastor who will lead our church’s call to love and disciple students, grades 6-12. Our current Student Ministry ministers to over 100 students each week and we are excited about the future of our student ministry. Our goal is to have a new Student Pastor in place by August 1.

About Our Church

Tidal Creek Fellowship is a Non-Denominational church planted 14 years ago. Four years ago we moved into our present facility after meeting in a school for 10 years. Tidal Creek began with 7 families in 2002 and today that number has grown into a church that sees over 600 in Sunday attendance. Our heartbeat is to be a community of faith that takes seriously Christ’s command to make disciples.

Our City

Tidal Creek Fellowship is located in Beaufort, South Carolina. Beaufort is a small coastal town known for its charm, hospitality, history, beautiful marsh views, and military bases. Our small town is no longer a secret as Southern Living magazine recently recognized Beaufort as a “Small Town We Love” and in 2013 Beaufort was ranked #1 as America’s Happiest Seaside Towns by readers of Coastal Living Magazine. Our area is also expected to be one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. over the next 15 years.

General Description of Duties

-Develop a leadership team of students who are servant leaders within the ministry.

-Recruit, train, and develop a committed volunteer team to help ensure that each environment within the Student Ministry at Tidal Creek is properly staffed. Your job is to lead leaders, not do everything yourself.

-Partner with parents by providing clear communication and helpful resources. It is essential that parents are seen as partners in the Student Ministry.

-Assist in the development of an annual budget for student ministries and also manage spending to stay within that budget.

-Function as a team member of the church pastoral staff that seeks to help minister to the entire church family as needed (hospital visits, weddings, funerals, etc.) and requested by Lead Pastor.
