Job Description:

Position: Operations Administrator

Position Summary: Lead on the ministry team through oversight of operational administration.

Working Relationships:  Accountable to the Executive Director

 

Responsibilities:

Spiritual Life: Committed to a daily walk with Jesus, spending regular time in the study of scripture and prayer.


Resident Life: 

Lead a Wednesday night community group

Participate in regular 1-on-1 with students

Participate in on-campus activities
Responsible to drive a van to church on Sunday for students

Be present during assigned meal times

Lead a fall Backpack Trip (30-70 miles)

Participate on the spring student trip


Administration:

Work in cooperation with the Executive Director to communicate with and schedule teachers and chapel speakers.

Provide transportation for teaching faculty when needed.
Ensure all teaching faculty and chapel speakers are compensated.
Serve on the chapel planning team, with the Executive Director and other staff, to help formation, training, scheduling, and the expectations of worship teams.

Ensures worship team and sound booth work crew students are communicating and executing all chapel AV needs.

Assists all speakers in logistical needs (answering questions, AV needs, etc.).

Provide all administrative leadership and planning for the spring student trip.

Schedule all work duty assignments for first year students.


Finance - In cooperation with the accounting firm:

Set and maintain annual budget in cooperation with the Executive Director and Ministry Board

Report regular updates on budget to relevant staff

Pay all bills
Register all expenses and incomes
Regularly reconcile bank statements to QuickBooks

Send receipts to all donors upon donations

Perform all necessary research for financial relevancy and problem solving


Human Resources - In cooperation with the accounting firm:

Coordinate staff payroll
Inform new staff on policy and procedures

Oversee insurance policies

Ensures ministry is current on legal procedures and policies


Communication & Marketing

Develop annual communication strategy and budget.
Design, or oversee the design, of all publications pertaining to programming and merchandise (Newsletter, catalogs, brochures, posters, etc.).

Oversee all social media.
Oversee updates and changes on website.
Coordinate all media projects pertaining to photography, videography, and design work

Maintain third-party web accounts pertaining to event registration and payment processes

 

Food Service
Provide leadership and oversight of all food service functions, including staff

 

Qualifications:

Spiritual Gift(s) and Abilities:

Spiritually Mature

Spiritually gifted in Administration (must) & teaching (preferred)

Able to organize, analyze, prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner

Expertise and aptitude with organizational finances

Self-motivated, responsible, takes initiative

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

Preferred training in financial and operational systems

 

Experience:

Five or more years or related experience (or equivalent); Proven capabilities in all pertinent areas of operational ministry

Small group discipleship and/or mentoring experience

 

Other:
Agrees with the Mission and Doctrinal Statement of C-N Mission / MWSB.
Understands that by becoming an employee, they will submit their personal preferences and expectations as secondary to the needs of the overall ministry

Demonstrate professionalism through his appearance, attitude and loyalty

Familiar with general computer skills. Able to operate Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

 

Measurability:

Perform all components of the job description

Accountability is maintained through regular, personal meetings with the Executive Director

 

Salary & Expected Hours:

Status: Full-time; Salaried

Expected Pay Range: TBD

Provisions: Housing and all related costs; Daily meals when served; Cell phone; Health Plan; Retirement allowance; Ministry resources, and FICA allowance
