Worship Pastor, full time & relocation, amazing community & growth

Our (growing) church of 1000 is looking for a new worship pastor.
You’ll be coming onto the team at an amazing time, as we are planning our first multi-site location for 2016. Other reasons why our church is an exciting place to be:

Friendly, welcoming community that (for right now) is 85% un-
churched.
Spokane (Spo-CAN, not Spo-KANE) is one of the best-kept secrets of the Pacific Northwest.
It’s beautiful with its rivers and lakes, the cost of living is low, and we do NOT get Seattle rain.
Our outreach is done (and our church has grown) organically through a culture of invitation.
We have great environments and awesome Sunday experiences designed to make it easy for people to find and follow Jesus Christ.
(We just need an awesome worship pastor to complement that, i.e. we need YOU!)

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:
Role model Christ-follower, developing ever deeper in their faith
Excellent skills as an artist and musician; talent and work ethic a
must
Ability to plan and execute worship sets across multiple
environments
Strong desire to improve discipleship ability and leadership skills
Let me speak to this last point. We believe that anybody with a “Pastor” title should be exceptional in helping others deepen their relationship with Christ.
We grow leaders. We are not interested in “do-ers.” Leadership in our church means:
•Identifying gifts and talents in people, whether they’re an all-star Christian or not
•Tapping them on the shoulder and asking them to engage in a process of growth
•Building strong relationships, teaching them, and helping them become better
This is how we disciple others. And this is how we multiply ourselves organizationally.
We are working on becoming masterful at this and we will teach you everything we know.
You will become masterful too.
This is the perfect position for somebody who wants to LIVE MINISTRY, not just DO MINISTRY.
