A new opportunity exists for a highly relational and hard-working individual to provide ICT support in a global progressive, fast-paced computing environment.  Duties include:

Information TechnologiesResponsible for supporting end users systems across a global region. Requires experience installing network and desktop hardware/software; developing hardware/software installation schedules; configuring systems and communications devices and peripheral equipment; training site personnel on the proper use of hardware/software; loading new software releases and maintenance updates; tracking trouble calls; processing trouble reports; performing system analysis, integration and support of new desktop interfaces/ products as required.  Requires understanding of Active Directory and SQL server.

 

Communications Technologies:  Responsible for testing, tuning, adjusting, maintaining, and repairing ground radio communications and related equipment; phone systems, satellite phones, and other communication hardware; and supporting the integrity of field network services such as email, internet and telephone service.  The Technician provides ongoing support to field work, both on-site and remotely.

The position requires experience working with field radio systems from various manufacturers (Codan, Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, etc.) as well as satellite systems, including VSAT and/or BGAN.

 

Requirements:  A bachelor’s degree or university program certificate in a related field and three years of hands-on experience supporting either Windows computing, radio or satellite systems is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to travel internationally and domestically on short notice for varied time periods will be necessary.  Typically, travel will be 25-30% of the time each year.  Twelve-credit hours of college-level biblical studies preferred.  Must maintain a personal relationship with and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
