About Every Generation Ministries

In response to God’s love for children and for His Church, Every Generation Ministries (EGM) was founded in 1993 to transform children in Christ through His Church.

The ministry found its beginning in Poland, but over the last 23 years, has expanded to work in 13 countries on four continents. EGM currently has work in Belarus, Hungary, Egypt, Poland, Romania, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, and in U.S. Hispanic churches. There are over 25,000 children’s workers involved in EGM's leadership development training programs and/or using its Bible teaching materials.

What drives EGM?

So many children around the world are living in difficult situations. Most of them have never experienced unconditional love. So many have a real lack of peace in their lives and experience extreme feelings of hopelessness.

These children are looking for solutions to the problems they face – problems such as issues with self-image, where girls are dealing with insecurities related to their appearance, and boys who are struggling in school or sports, and children living in difficult family situations.

They are looking for answers to questions and are barely able to cope. EGM has found that in every country, there are people who love children and want to help them. EGM provides training and teaching materials to these children’s workers so they may help children know God and live life the way God intended.

Meeting the need.

Jesus makes it clear in His Great Commission of Matthew 28:16-20, that helping children experience His life-transforming gospel is the solution to their spiritual poverty. Further, in the same Great Commission, He makes it clear that transformation in Christ Jesus is the job of His Church. The mission and vision statements of Every Generation Ministries reflect this dual message:

The mission of Every Generation Ministries is to transform children in Christ through His Church.

We believe that God has called Every Generation Ministries to establish national ministry teams in 38 countries where over 75% of the world's children live that are governed, staffed and fully funded from their respective national Christian communities. These national ministry teams develop a growing number of model children's workers by providing innovative leadership development training programs and culturally relevant Bible teaching resources to children's workers serving in local churches.

In order to see God's vision to fruition, Every Generation Ministries is in a stage of growth. New team members are being called to provide the support needed for ministry expansion into 25 new countries throughout the world where over 75% of the world's children live. Children's workers living in these countries are in desperate need of culturally relevant ministry resources in order to serve the children in their communities.
