Samaritan’s Purse is seeking an energetic, experienced leader for the position of Youth and Young Adult Strategic Partnership Specialist to develop and strengthen partnership opportunities among youth, college, and young adult networks for Operation Christmas Child (OCC).
Under the director of the Manager, Community Relations, this position will research and implement strategies to engage youth leaders in national church group and Christian school, college, and university settings to generate participation in Operation Christmas Child, developing a new generation of volunteer leadership for OCC by building a dynamic and effective structure integrated into the current OCC volunteer culture.
Position requires frequent travel for partnership development and consultation with other Christian ministries and organizations. Relocation for 4-6 weeks in November/December to assist in the management of an
OCC Processing Center may also be required.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Twelve credit hours of college-level biblical studies strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with MS Office software, and proficiency with social networking tools also required.
Experience in youth/college ministry required. Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt in a dynamic work environment a must.
